​Tamara Mroz is a passionate and experienced Registered Practical Nurse with a rich background in healthcare education. With over 20 years of healthcare experience, Tamara has made a significant impact in the fields of First Aid and CPR, as well as in various healthcare/nursing programs. For the past 8 years, she has focused on teaching First Aid CPR, while also dedicating 10 years to instructing at Confederation College in Thunder Bay, where she taught in the Personal Support Worker (PSW), Nursing, and Dental Assisting programs.
Tamara's diverse nursing experience spans home care, hospitals, and long-term care settings, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of patient care. Now, as the head instructor and owner/operator of HealthTec Training, she is committed to equipping individuals with the skills they need to respond effectively in emergencies. Tamara takes a unique approach to teaching First Aid, ensuring that her students not only understand the material but also retain it for future use when it matters most.

With a deep love for anatomy, Tamara spent 6 years teaching at the college level, sharing her enthusiasm and knowledge with aspiring healthcare professionals. Her dedication to education and her students is evident in her innovative teaching methods and her commitment to creating a supportive learning environment.

As she looks to the future, Tamara is eager to continue growing HealthTec Training by introducing new courses and expanding her offerings. She welcomes feedback and new ideas, believing that collaboration is key to enhancing the learning experience for her students.
