Our experienced & passionate staff has made learning fun! Our goal is to provide everyone with life saving knowledge and lasting experiences leaving our classes. The course structure HealthTec Training provides has been crafted and redefined over years of teaching and continues to be our top priority moving forward.

Through our hard work and dedication, we have been able to provide Red Cross training for over 8 years to surrounding businesses, students and northern communities. Being a community staple of Thunder Bay means the world to us and will continue to improve and provide training for all essential skills.​ We look to help others across Canada as we move further.​

Tamara is a passionate and experienced Registered Practical Nurse with a rich background in healthcare education. With over 20 years of healthcare experience, Tamara has made a significant impact in the fields of First Aid and CPR, as well as in various healthcare/nursing programs. For the past 8 years, she has focused on teaching First Aid CPR, while also dedicating 10 years to instructing at Confederation College in Thunder Bay ...
Philip Mroz
Office Manager
Philip is a remarkable young man who has turned challenges into opportunities. Graduating from Hammarskjold High School during the unprecedented times of COVID-19, he has shown resilience and determination that inspire everyone around him. Living with Autism and Cerebral Palsy, Philip doesn’t let anything hold him back. Instead, he embraces life with a smile and a positive attitude.

Instructor
Tammy is a dedicated first aid instructor and a Personal Support Worker (PSW) with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. Her extensive career has been dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and special needs, working with both adults and children in various settings, including home care, community programs, and long-term care facilities.
Jordan Lehto
Operations Manager
Jordan Lehto serves as the Operations Manager at HealthTec Training, where he plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of first aid training programs. With a strong foundation in web development and over ten years of experience in technology, Jordan is responsible for scheduling, database management, and overseeing daily operations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
